Positively Portland Walking Tours

Brand IdentityGraphics + LogosWeb Design
Logo, web design + maintenance, branding, SEO, and graphic design for the Pacific Northwest’s premier architectural historian and tour guide.
LOGO
Emphasizing architecture and Positively Portland‘s local identity, we created a clean, simple logo based on the Portland skyline. Some of the city’s most notable buildings can be identified, abstracted in the logo.

WEBSITE
Positively Portland needed a website to list all of their 70+ tours, contain a calendar of upcoming events, and explain who they are and how to get in touch with them.

Since they list their tours on Meetup, we built an automation into website’s back-end, tying their Meetup page to the new website. This allows them to continue their posting routine, having their events auto-post to the new site, eliminating the need to post events twice.

Additionally, our focus on SEO has helped to convert Portland locals and visitors alike into customers of Positively Portland, simply by utilizing the power of search engines.

RESPONSIVE DESIGN
In listing all of Positively Portland‘s 70+ tour pages, as well as their events calendar, responsive design was a high priority. We worked hard to ensure that each page of the site is functional and beautiful, no matter the device they’re viewed on.

CUSTOM MAPS
We wanted a simple, graphic way to communicate the breadth of neighborhoods and places that Positively Portland offers walking tours in. For the website’s “All Tours” page, we created a series of maps broken down by Portland’s infamous “Five Quadrants,” as well as surrounding communities outside inner Portland.

BUSINESS CARDS
It was important to Positively Portland to have business cards consistent with the brand we created via the new logo and website. The cards are clean and simple, with an emphasis on the Meetup page and Positively Portland‘s very active social media channels.
